40th Anniversary

Last weekend I had the absolute pleasure of meeting D & A, a wonderful couple who were celebrating their 40th anniversary.  It was such an fantastic celebration!  Some highlights include, their original engagement announcement, wedding cake topper and wedding album, and the first box of valentine’s day chocolates A ever gave to D.  “A” surprised D with a brand new ring during their vow exchange, she was thrilled.  I was told that they never got to share a first dance on their wedding day because they had a flight to catch. D joked that she had been waiting 40 years for a first dance!  They left their wedding reception right after dinner leaving their guests behind.  Last weekend they renewed their vows with their four children and spouses,  5 grandchildren, original maid of honour and best man, friends and extended family as witnesses.  It was a wonderful evening and I felt so honoured to witness and photograph such an amazing family.  The love this couple share and the happiness they have in their lives was all over their faces, I think you will see what I mean in the pictures.  A special thanks to Chautal for entrusting me with such precious memories!

HELLO everyone, I am so excited to introduce you all to HELLO LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!  Hello Love Photography is brand new and the site is live today so please, please, please, check it out by clicking on:

Hello Love is primarily a wedding photography business although we are open to any special event that you would want two super awesome and amazingly talented photographers at.  Who are these great girls I am speaking of?  Well, myself of course and the beautiful, creative, and super energetic Erin Keown of Erin Keown Photography.  We have been great friends for a number of years and worked on more than one session and wedding together.  We love working together and came to the realization a while back that, well, two is better than one when it comes to photographers on your wedding day.  It’s been a labour of love and way more work than we had anticipated but a whole bunch of fun at the same time.

We hope you’ll stay tuned as there will be more great sessions and weddings from Hello Love coming soon, and even some video!  Yep, we do that too! Our first video engagement session will be completed in the next few weeks and we absolutely can’t wait to share!  Our new blog is still a work in progress so if you want to keep up on the latest news and sessions from Hello Love you an always follow us HERE on Facebook.  But don’t forget to LIKE us or you won’t be subscribed to our Facebook news feed.

Baby Boy “C”

This little cutie and his big sister were here over the weekend.  He was such a good boy for his big day in the spotlight!  It was a little over two years ago that his big sister “M” was just a newborn, I always love to see how these little ones have grown – she is quite a dolly with her pale blue eyes and blond curls!!  Thanks again Mom and Dad, it was great seeing you again – you two are SO relaxed…enjoy your new little sweetheart and these fleeting newborn moments!

This is sweet “M” at her newborn session, I believe about 5 weeks old, still the same blue eyes!

Sweet little “S” turns One!

This adorable little sweetheart just celebrated her first birthday.  I have to say, her Mama sure knows how to dress her!  With her blue eyes and blond, blond hair she is just irresistible!  It was an absolute pleasure to see how much she has changed over the last year – the last time I saw her was at her newborn photo session.  Thanks so much A and J, you have a gem…but I think you already know that! :)
